Makayla's New Eye

Makayla finally recieved her new eye at the beginning of April. I havent been able to get a very good picture of it, since she is constantly putting her head down. Blind kids aren't very good at taking pictures. Anyways here is a couple of pics of her and a video, and of James Micheal's new hair cut. Enjoy my sweeties.

My Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day on Sunday. I woke up to a sweetie sleeping next to me, our newest addition, Evan:
I walked out into the living room and encountered this little cutie, James Micheal:
James made me a great breakfast, and got me some beautiful roses. We went to my mom and dad's after for a great meal and a delicious dessert of s'mores around a campfire. It was a great mothers day and very memorable. I especially like the pictures of Makayla on a tricycle. James Micheal peeing in a field and holding his bottom, because he is very worried that he might go poo while he is peeing. And Evan looking up at his loving daddy. Happy Mother's Day to all. Our new Rooms

Well we switched up some things in the house. Evan wasn't sleeping very well in his room since it was right below all the noise, so we decided to move his room and our room upstairs. We put the guest room downstairs and the TV room is now in the living room. We also turned the old nursery into James' computer room. Here are a couple of pictures of the new rooms. We painted our room blue and brown. And the babies room in shades of green with white and brown polka dots. We like being upstairs a lot better and so does Evan.

Well Evan is finally giggling and smiling at us. He loves to coo and gurgle too. He is such a sweet little guy, and is fitting in quite well into our family. Easter

Well, for Easter we went to visit our best buds, Russ and Emily and their new baby girl, Mirian Anna Carlson, who they just adopted. She is the cutest thing and Emily and I have already determined she will be my future daughter-in-law. Here is a picture or two of her and her proud parents:

James Micheal had so much fun dyeing easter eggs and going on an Easter Egg Hunt here are some pictures of him enjoying himself.He also loves their dog Maced. We all had a wonderful time. Thanks Russ and Emily we had a great time and can't wait to see your little princess again.

Our Little Evan is Rolling Over!

I can't believe it but, my two and a half month old is rolling over. That is faster than James Micheal and Makayla. He is already 13 pounds and loves looking at himself in the mirror. He is just starting to coo and make gurgling sounds at us. He loves to be held and hates to not be where the action is, he is a perfect third child we love you Evan, you have been such a blessing to our family. There is also a picture of Makayla standing by the couch,her new thing is cruising the couch, she is so close to walking. Enjoy the pictures of my darlings.

Our Poor litte E.T.

Well, little Evan came down with a 103 degree fever last night around 11:30, we gave him some tylenol, but he was breathing really fast so we decided to take him to the ER. After 4 hours of tests we found out Evan had bronchitis. He hasn't gotten a fever since last night and they gave him a wide spectrum anitbiotic shot. He seems a lot better today, but still grumpy. There is nothing they can give for bronchitis, besides breathing treatments at the hospital. So, we have to watch him really closely and make sure his breathing stays normal the next couple of days. The doctor said if we would have brought him in a week ago, before he hit two months, he would have had to get a spinal puncture and everything else. So, we can count our blessings about that. We were there till 5 am and luckily, Evan slept until 9 this morning so we got a little sleep. Oh the joys of being a parent, but I am glad he was well enough to come home with us and hasn't had to stay in the hospital, hopefully, he will be well in a couple more days, he seems like he is on the mend. Big Brother

I thought I would take some pictures of the big brother of the family. James Micheal is such a cutie, and so helpful with the kids. He gets me diapers and clothes for Evan and Makayla all the time. He loves to hold Evan, and play cars with Makayla. It is definetly his role to be the big brother and we love him for that. Makayla's Birthday Weekend!!

Well, my little princess is now 2 years old. I was thinking about all the changes in her over a year. She now says momma, daddy, hi, and yeah. She loves to eat almost everything she can,and is well on her way to walking someday. We love her so much and are so grateful that she is part of our family. For her birthday, we had a cake, and Makayla got her very first doll. She loves to try to brush the dolls hair and loves hugging it. Saturday night she got to have a sleepover with Grandma McIntire, and Sunday she is having a late birthday party and Grandma and Grandpa Divis'. Everyone sure loves our little girl as much as we do, and we are so happy to have such a wonderful family, who supports and loves her. Enjoy some pictures of her on her birthday.

My mom took this really cute picture of the grandkids, all of them are laying in a circle. I really loved them and thought I would post them. I also put a picture of Evan in there at 4 weeks old. I am in shock, it has gone so fast and he is already a month old. He is such a sweetie, and even though I am having a lot of sleepless nights, I wouldn't change it. I have had enough kids that I know that I should appreciate the phase their in, cause it will be over before ya know it. Enjoy some more cute pictures.

I can't believe my sweet pea is almost 2!

I can't believe it, but Makayla, my little darling is going to be two years old in a week. It makes me sad that she seems to have grown in such a blink of an eye. I do look forward to her talking and walking though. Carrying around 25 pounds of dead weight is not the most fun thing, when you have a newborn on the other hip. She is growing up and loves to eat, eat, and eat. She loves playing with James Micheal, but hasn't figured out Evan yet. My favorite thing about having Makayla is being able to dress her up like a doll of course.
