Makayla is Home!!
Just wanted to let everyone know that Makayla is home now. After an ER trip that turned into a 4 night 5 day stay at the hospital, we are glad to be home. Well, they found out that the soar on her leg is not MRSA. They still aren't sure, they think she got an infection from her shots she recieved about 2 weeks ago. Either way, it is healing. The pneumonia turned out to be aspiration pneumonia. This means that the food and drink she had taken got into her lungs, instead of all going down to her stomach. They did a swallow study, and found that the only safe consistency to give her right now is pudding texture. She now has to have all of her liquids thickened and her foods pureed. They will begin to add speech therapy to her routine at the Guild School, which will include eating and drinking therapy. The doctor in the hospital wanted us to put a tube down her nose and into her stomach as a feeding tube, because she feels like this will be happening again. James and I prayed about it and felt like this wasn't the right decision right now. Considering, this is the first time this has happened since she has been alive. So, we will be doing the therapy and thickening of her liquids until they do another swallow test on her in 2 to 3 months. She does well with spoon feeding milk and is not coughing anymore, which is a great sign she isn't aspriating. James and I just wanted to thank our family and friends for all the help and prayers they have given the last few days. We are happy to have our little girl home, and she is happy to be aways from the people who just wouldn't leave her alone in the hospital.

Makayla's Hospital Stay
Well, Thursday morning Makayla was refusing to eat or drink and had a high fever. I felt like she needed to go to the hospital. I called James and we took her to the ER. We found out she had pneumonia and she was admitted to the hospital Thursday night. She was doing great on Friday and feeling a ton better. She was also eating and drinking like a little piggy. Friday afternoon, a weird rash started to form on her leg. The rash blistered and spread quite a bit on her thigh. They still don't know what it is. But, they have ruled it down to two things. It is either a serious allergic reaction to aluminium in her vaccines she had about a week and a half ago, or MRSA. We are hoping it is just a allergic reaction and her body didn't fight it off very well, since she has pneumonia. We will post more when we find out what it is and when she gets to come home from the hospital. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and support. Enjoy the pics. This is Makayla when she fell asleep on daddy last week, and then he fell asleep too. Oh, and then James Micheal wanted to get his picture taken, so he acted like he was sleeping too. My silly little boy.

Who Needs a Paper Shredder?
So, my Makayla loves to rip any paper you give her. I was searching through the paper for grocery sales, when I left the room for a couple of minutes. When I came back, Makayla had ripped it to shreds. Luckily, it was a store we don't have in the area so it didn't matter. But, I would be out of luck if it was, because there was no evidence left of that being a food ad. We all had a good laugh. But, we really have to be careful because she has already ripped 3 hymn books at church. Whoops! Oh,and I forgot to post these cute picutres of Makayla in her jumper. She is such a cutie, well, when she isn't ripping things, that is.
Remind You of Anyone?
Well, my adorable James Micheal is definetly growing up. He did the funniest thing yesterday. All I can say is, he came out of his room saying, "Mommy, my tummy hurts,I have baby in my tummy." So, I decided to take some pictures of my pregnant James Micheal, that does look like an uncomfortable baby. Oh, and he had a great time bumping baby bumps with me. Until, well we had to deliver his baby with an emergency C-Section, he was just too uncomfortable.

James Micheal's 3rd Birthday!!!
Well, it is official, our little boy turned 3 yesterday. I can't believe how much he has grown in a year. He is now potty trained(thank heavens!), and learning a new word every other minute. He is a great big brother and such a sweetheart. We love you James Micheal and are so blessed to have you in our family.
So, to start out his birthday festivities, we went to the fair on Monday night, for family home evening. He had a blast on some rides and got to pick out a special treat. A huckleberry ice cream cone, good choice.
Then on Friday, the family came over to celebrate with him. He didn't really have a theme. It was a Garfield Cake, Spiderman wrapping paper, and Hot Wheels presents. Either, way it was fun and he had a great time, playing with his presents. I only have a few pictures of him at the fair and his cake(that I spent 2 1/2 hours frosting by the way). My mom took some great pics and I will post them later. For now enjoy our little pumpkin.

Makayla: Sleeping Bottle
Well, I have decided that Makayla no longer goes into her room unless it is bed time. Which means naps in the living room. We found out that she just fake sleeps so we can't here her and she will play in their for hours without us knowing, because every time you go and check on her she acts like she is asleep. So, she stays in the living room now, and this was the nap she took today. With bottle in hand she slept like that for about 30 minutes, then she changed her position, it was pretty cute though.
