Contemplating My Life!!

I have been thinking a lot lately about the path the Lord has put me on that I would have never chosen for myself. I honestly always thought I would work outside my home, not get married until I was much older, and maybe have a couple children. Obviously, the Lord had a different plan for me, and I am happy to say that even though my life is not how I thought it would be, it is so much more fulfilling, than any career could have been.
I guess I have been thinking about being a mom a lot, because I am going to be a new mommy again in December, and I am honestly really excited about it. I know it takes a lot to raise children, and I know I have a lot of them, but I know with the Lord that this could be the greatest accomplishment of my life. Now, according to today's standard's I am crazy and not giving each child the time and space they need to become well rounded children BLAH BLAH BLAH!! Ya know the world is so full of Satan's lies, and some I found have even leaked into our church it seems like. More couples wait to have kids till they are financially stable and feel they are able to be the best. Well, guess what no one ever feels financially stable and guess what no one will ever be the best. You do what you can, and rely on the Lord for the rest.
I know those are strong words, but I know that the Lord's plan for me is to be a mother, for a large portion of my life, and I know it is the hardest and most important job I will ever have. And for that to the Lord I am truly grateful, how wonderful it is to be part of his plan of creation, that the Lord has seen fit for me to do that. Just a few things I felt I needed to write down. I know way too long, sorry!

I will let it be known!

So, if any of you who read my blog are my facebook friends, you already know the news, but I thought I would post it anyways. I AM PREGNANT!! I am very excited,my due date as of right now is December 16th, so a Christmas baby for us. I am terrible at keeping secrets, and I hope that I don't miscarry, now that I have told everyone on the planet. I was just too excited. In truth, James and I have had the feeling we needed to add another member to the family since October. I felt like it was the right time, but the Lord's timing is never our own, During that time, Evan started physical therapy and Makayla just started preschool. It was nice to be able to get them squared away and looking back on it, a great blessing, but now we are looking forward to another member to our wonderful family and a new chapter in our lives.

EASTER!

So we got to go and visit Russ&Emily, and baby Mirian, for Easter this year. Her first birthday was on Friday, which I didn't get any picture of(I know I slacked this trip). Saturday, we spent the day watching conference, eating yummy food, and dyeing Easter EGGS. It was a ton of fun. Sunday was conference again, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt and a very yummy Easter dinner. I only got pictures of James Micheal dyeing eggs. I know bad mommy, and we didn't take an Easter picture, I am going to have to take one with my mom, in all our finery. Thanks for the memories Russ and Emily, we had a great time, and love your new house! Enjoy the pictures of my eggstatic little boy!

Fun at the Kid's Museum!

Spokane has a very small kid's museum, but it is a lot of fun for James Micheal, and he needed to get out of the house, so James Micheal, Makayla, Evan, My Mom, and I, all went last Friday. It was a lot of fun for all. Makayla especially liked the giant drum set they had there. James Micheal loved the water toys. I enjoyed the help from my mom, so I didn't have to watch all three at the same time. It was a nice way to get out of the house, at least for the afternoon. Later James joined us for dinner with my mom and dad. We had a great time spending the day with family. Here a couple of pictures of the museum

Sleepy Days!!

Makayla and Evan have had some sleepy days lately. Evan fell asleep in his high chair after eating breakfast, he has been pretty tired recently and I am pretty sure it is from growing or teeth or a combo of both. Here he is asleep after eating his cereal, it was so cute

Makayla has been pretty tired after she comes home from preschool too. Here is a day after preschool and work for daddy and daughter.

Fun at the Park!!

Well, we were really bored yesterday, and knew that the kids needed to get out of the house so we took them to the park. We went on the carousel, and had a great time walking around. James Micheal really liked the big Radio Flyer Wagon Slide. I sure do love our family, we have soo much fun doing nothing at all. Enjoy the pictures

Evan having fun eating breakfast.

So while I was doing some chores Evan and James Micheal were eating breakfast. I heard this loud banging sound from the dining room, and James Micheal's laugh, which is a lethal combination. So I run in there, only to find this.:

Makayla's First Day of School!!

Well, my little girl started preschool today. She definitely had a good time. I dropped her off for her first day. I am pretty sure it was more for me than her. James Micheal and Evan tagged along and loved the toys. Makayla's vision teacher was there and stayed with her all day just to make sure she adjusted well. I left after twenty minutes into class, regretfully. But I have to say all in all she adjusted really, really, really well. That girl astounds me everyday. It was nice to be able to just deal with two children for a few hours. Plus this will give me more time to work with Evan now. I guess I never really told too many people that Evan is now enrolled in the Guild School. He is over a year and not crawling so he is now getting physical and speech therapy once a week. We have seen major improvements and are not too worried about him yet. Anyways, here are some pictures of my little darling on her first day

Our Little Princess is 3!!!

Well, my little girl is three years old. I can't believe it. We have had a great year with her. She has had no hospital stays and little to no illness. We are grateful that she is growing up and in our family everyday. She is definitely a happy go lucky kind of girl, and always has a smile on her face. She makes us realize everyday that life is never as bad as it could be and to appreciate every moment. We love you Makayla and are so grateful to you and how you have made our family better and more wonderful than it could have ever been without you. We LOVE you. Love your mommy and daddy, and two brothers.

Here are some pictures of my girl on her special day. She had cupcakes for her Guild School Graduation. Everybody cried a few tears when she left, she was really special to everybody with her loving nature. I am sad that she has graduated and will start preschool on Monday, but I know it is time. Time goes way too fast sometimes, it seems like yesterday I was trying to help her not cry through a session of physical therapy, and now she just giggles and smiles the whole time. She has really come along way. We sang to her and had some cake, and took her out to dinner at Tomato Street, we gave her lots of options, but she kept saying pasta. We enjoyed a nice low key and peaceful night, which is what Makayla is all about. Enjoy my darling.

Russ and Emily's Visit

I know I am not going in the right order, but three weekends ago, Russ and Emily came to visit us, with their little cutie Mirian. They got to go to a really special event. Mirian's birth mother got baptized and she was able to attend along with Russ and Emily. I only got a couple of pictures of my future daughter-in-law, before they left for the baptism, in a cute little dress, I got for her when she was born, I can't believe she already fits in it, she is so darling

And here is one of James Micheal and Mirian, the little ham couldn't help but sneak in a shot.

And last but not least one of Mirian, and her mommy, Emily. Don't ya just love her hat?

Bowling Fun!

We went bowling with my mom and dad two weekends ago. It was a lot of fun and the kids sure had a great time. James Micheal and Liam both had fun throwing the ball as hard as they could. Makayla had fun cheering for everybody. Evan also had a lot of fun, because he got held by everyone. All in all, it was a really fun night and created a lot of great memories.

Evan's Birthday Party!!

We had a little birthday party for Evan last Thursday. My Mom and Dad,Callie and Liam, Dustin, and Jordan and Mariah came. It was nice to have so much family over. He got some great presents and his own little cake. He didn't really like getting to destroy his own cake very much. He sure was a cutie with his presents. We got him a box of tissues(thanks for the idea Hillary)which he loved. All in all it was a great night and we were so happy we could share it with family. Thanks a bunch! Enjoy the pictures of my little monkey

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVAN!

Wow, my little Evan is 1 year old today! He is such a doll, and we love him so much. He is a very special little guy to me. He came into my life when I was very scared to have another kid, but as soon as I saw him, my heart just melted. He is the only baby I have had that I just cried when I held him for the first time. He was so wonderful. He opened his eyes for the first time when I first held him. It was like he had known me for a very long time. He has always been a mamas boy and very cuddly. He was quiet and never made much of a fuss about anything. That has changed now, but can you blame the child, when you are the youngest of three you learn to make your voice known! I love everything about him. I love that he is stubborn. I love his funny teeth and grin. I love that he giggles the most when James Micheal is around. I love when he is shy and buries his head in my shoulder. I love the way he smiles at Makayla with a love only a brother can have for a sister. I love the way he screeches for his daddy when he comes home.I love the way he makes little noises when I come in a room and reaches out for me. I love it all. Happy First Birthday Evan. WE LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!

Man, Do I Have Cute Kids Or What

So, James Micheal fell asleep, while trying to choke down his dinner. He refused to finish so he fell asleep. Pretty Hilarious! The thing that cracks me up the most is he pulled the hot pad over to put his head on so it wouldn't be on the table, like a pillow!

Evan is adorable. You would think I would hate how incredibly stubborn he is, and I do, but he is just so darn cute, I can't stay mad at the kid. I don't know what I am going to do when he is a teenager

Makayla is really turning into quite a cute little thing. She cracks us up almost all day long. She is rarely in a bad mood, only when food is involved! And her other senses just amaze us sometimes. She is truly incredible, and is finally growing hair. She is definitely our little princess

Christmas 2009

Christmas this year was lots of fun. My parents went to Hawaii this year so we did Christmas early with them. We had fun eating prime rib, yummy, yummy, and playing games. Liam and James Micheal had a blast together. We then when up for actual Christmas to Mom and Dad Divis, we had a lot of fun with all the family and were glad to have the whole Divis family together this year. It was a lot of fun and James Micheal got to be a helper on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Thanks for the great memories
