Rub-a-dub-dub!

Well it has officially begun, James started college again so our time as a family will be limited. Especially come spring when he will be starting his bachelors program! While he is at night school 2 days a week I have the joy of being severely pregnant and trying to deal with 3 toddlers, oh the joys! But, as a mom, there are some good moments too being very pregnant and trying to give your kids baths. I can't really kneel very long anymore so I am confined to sitting on the toilet seat and watching my two boys go at it! Evan discovered bubbles today, and how much he loves them, and how much he loves putting them on his and his brother's face. Example Below:

Evan has also been enjoying the joys of cars and trains. The boy literally has gone up and down the couch at least 10 times today with a toy car. So I took a picture!

Makayla is doing really well in preschool and I need to do a post dedicated to her very soon. She looks so cute getting on the bus everyday with her giant pink backpack, little white cane, and black pea coat. It is honestly adorable!!!!

I am also planning on moving Evan down to his brothers room this weekend into our playpen, not the bed, he is just way too small and way to accident prone! The reason why I am doing it so early is because well, I have a feeling Evan and his little sister are not going to have very loving feelings towards each other in the beginning. Evan loves being the baby, I am not exaggerating...LOVES! So I don't want him to feel like we had the baby and now he gets kicked out of the baby room, so thus the early transition. And speaking of Sadie, she is getting SOOOOO BIG! Is it really almost October? Here is proof of said growth. Here is me 3 weeks ago:

And this is me as of today, it is ridiculous!

Sadie's New Crib Set

I have been working on Sadie's crib set for quite a while and I finally finished it today. It looks great and I love it, and it was so much cheaper than buying a new bumper set! Here are some pictures of my creation. Can I say a quilt for her is in my future. Yes, I can't seem to stop now!

Flower Headbands and Clips!

So I have gone a little bit insane with the flower clip thing. I decided I would try to make some, and with some dollar store flowers and headbands, I made some really cute hair things. I can't believe how easy and quick they are. Here is a picture of my creations for Sadie and Makayla! And Emily, we will make some for Mirian as soon as I come and visit again.

James Micheal is 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my little man is 5 years old now. Can I just say I do not like this growing up business. We started his birthday off by taking him to the fair on Saturday, since his birthday is always right around fair time we have made it a tradition. Our good friends Russ and Emily came up for the weekend so they got to join us at the fair. James Micheal loved the animals, he always does, but he was really into them this year! He has already told us when he grows up he wants to be an animal doctor! Here he is with some of his favorite things. Petting Baby Goats

Petting the Sheep!

Enjoying the Cows!

AAAHHHHH! Honey BEES!

Don't worry, no bunnies were harmed in the making of this picture!

Being put in jail, at the fair by the Sheriff. Let's just say I think it freaked him out enough that he will be on the straight and narrow from now on.

Sunday was James Micheal's actual birthday. We went to church and he love being sang too, and getting his candy from the bishop. We came home and had cake and icecream. I decorated the cake Saturday night, not realizing I had gotten the wrong cake decorating tools until 10 at night. So I made due with plastic bags and food coloring. Emily, Amber, and I had a good laugh trying to create this thing. It definitely isn't my best character cake but James didn't care. He told me Sunday morning he only licked the frosting twice! HA HA! Here is a pic of the disaster and him opening his presents.

Can I just say that this kid is loved soo much. I am going to be so sad next year with his first day of school. He has been such a great helper to me I don't know what I will do without him. As I was putting him to bed last night, I said to him," Ya know what I was doing this time five years ago." He said,"What". I said," I was hugging and kissing you for the first time and realizing how much you were going to change my life." I then put him to bed and cried a little as I marked his b-day off the calendar. It just all goes so fast. We LOVE YOU JAMES MICHEAL! Happy 5th Birthday!

Labor Day Vacation

For Labor Day our whole family went to go see my brother who lives in Mukilteo. It was a lot of fun. We came Friday night and watched a movie with the kids then went to bed. Saturday we went to Ocean Shores, and had a great time at the beach. The boys had a great time burying each other in sand and playing with a fake Indian Jones whip, made out of some sort of sea kelp. Makayla really didn't like the ocean, she felt really uncomfortable with all the open space and the wind, she did enjoy the sound of the ocean though. Sunday we went to James' Aunt and Uncle's House and went to church and had dinner. Monday we laid low at Brandon's and watched a movie and went out for lunch. We had such a great time and the kids all really miss their Aunt Calie, Uncle Brandon, and Liam already. The weather was great and we miss you guys. Thanks for the fun times. Here are some pictures of the trip to the ocean!

Car Seat Cover!

So I made a car seat cover for the baby, and it is so adorable. Unfortunately, I have no car seat, because our old one was too old. It was over the limit so I have to get a new one. But, you can just imagine what it will look like on. It took me four hours, but I think I might be getting a hang of this sewing thing!

Last night I made a changing pad and a diaper clutch from my left over diaper bag material, it may not look the best, but it serves its purpose! Changing Pad Open

New Boppy Cover and Wall Hanging!

So, I have been trying to turn all my cleaning energy into crafting energy, since my house is clean enough and I have been put on a lot of restrictions due to my low lying placenta. So I tackled a new boppy cover all by myself. Let's just say after having 3 kids, 2 of which nursed for a year each, my boppy cover needed to be replaced. It only took me about 2 hours, for me that is fast! And I saved a ton. Do you know how much a new cover cost.... $20!!!!! I only spent about six dollars! This cover matches or will match Sadie's Crib Set I am making with my mom. I think I could make more too, cause they are really inexpensive and super easy. Here is a picture of the new cover:

I also decided to do a wall hanging for Sadie. I did one for James Micheal, but then had a hard time finding the right materials for Evan's and Makayla's so I didn't make them one. But we just got a Hobby Lobby in Spokane which is awesome, and I found exactly what I needed. Mariah came over to help since she has a lot of artistic vision and I just don't. With her help it is the cutest one I have made. I love it! What do you think?

New Diaper Bag!

So yesterday, my mom and I spent a good nine hours, making a new diaper bag for when I have Sadie. It was a lot more of my mom working than me, because we'll just say that my sewing abilities are very limited. But, it turned out amazing and is probably the nicest diaper bag I have ever had. We got the pattern online for free and the fabric was only about five bucks at Wal-mart. which means I saved a ton, and I LOVE IT! It is so darn cute! Here are some pictures! Outside Of Diaper Bag

Afternoon at the Lake

Friday afternoon we all went to the lake as a family after James got off work. Mom Divis, Gavin, Jordan, Mariah, Will, and Dad Divis, joined us and we had pizza for dinner. James Micheal loved the beach and had a great time, finding buried treasures and making a sand castle. We will miss summer when it is gone, but I love making memories with the kids while the sun still shines.

Happy Six Year Anniversary!

So James and I have been married six years today. We have had many challenges in our six years of marriage and many happy moments too. I am so grateful, that we have grown closer as a couple and as parents. Our children have been a big part of our marriage and are definitely one of the best parts. I am grateful to Jame's for his love and patience with me. I tend to be a little snippy when I am pregnant apparently! But, he takes me for who I am and I take him for who he is and that is what makes us good together. I can't wait for another six years, and eternity after that! They say 3 months is too short a time to fall in love and get married, and then to have 3 kids so quickly after is even crazier. But, I guess James and I are crazy together and wouldn't have done it any other way. Here is a picture of us today. We may have changed/gained weight and wrinkles, but I can honestly say I love him even more now than six years ago.
